I enjoyed this book, although the pacing did lag a bit near the middle. The main character is a teenager who is basically a loner, discovering who she is in the wake of the loss of her mother under questionable circumstances. She is learning to navigate a world living with only her distant father and her pleasantly demented grandfather who moves in with them. She has few friends to turn to and internalizes her grief and her uncertainty about who she is, and where she is heading. Family secrets are eventually revealed to her which allows healing to begin.Product details
